I'm a gabber. There. I admit it. I could spend hours in a coffee shop - and have many times - talking about what you're dreaming up for your day. Whether you're planning an intimate wedding, an elopement, a grande event, or a session just because you're dying for some time for "just us two" (name that movie!), let's grab a cup and chat. It means the world to me to hear your stories and your ideas, and I can tell you right now, I come a close second to you when it comes to how excited you are about your memories. Until then, feel free to scroll down for more info about me and about this work I love so much.
let's grab coffee.
The Ocean + Ridge Manifesto
I want my work to tell your stories and to capture the connection that is your legacy. To let you live in your moments and to truly allow my work to document and showcase who you are, together.
Where does this passion for life's great love stories come from?
The crazy, cheesy love my husband and I have for each other even 14 years later. The really tough bumps in the roads, the growth in our marriage, the adventures, and the dreams for our future.
It comes from a place of gratitude.
It comes from deep within my heart and soul.
And it comes from my fervent need to serve others.
My why is very simple, very personal, and incredibly fulfilling.
It's grounded in human connection. In love. In marriage.
My work is centered on cultivating new beginnings, nourishing the wisdom of years together, and evoking the excitement of future adventures. It's deeply inspired by nourishing love. If you're looking for a photographer who is influenced by connection and exuberance for life and wants her work to make you fall in love all over again, you've come to the right place.
Over the last near-decade of photographing love stories, I've found that the relationships I've created with my couples simply don't end at the delivery of a wedding gallery. My couples are buying new homes, starting families, and celebrating milestones. Or they're just plain in love and don't need an excuse.
It's not about fitting a mold. It's not about me. It's about you, creating memories, being in a moment, and the gift I've been given to create tangible pieces of your legacy.

FAQ
I have been a professional photographer for nearly a decade, with most of that being behind the camera during weddings! I began as a family photographer, but I fell in love with the candid, journalistic feel of wedding and elopement days! There's nothing like capturing memories and moments versus poses! The most important thing I want to emphasize is just how important it is for you to not only connect with your photographer, but you should totally trust that you've got someone experienced behind you 100%. For me, this is about giving you an experience and not just a service!
Yes! Absolutely! Wedding/elopement days are not styled shoots, and no two wedding/elopement days are the same. While I do my best to represent my couples and my style and vision on social media and through my blog, it's important to me for you to see a full-size, real wedding/elopement gallery that has been delivered to one of my previous couples. This way you get an idea of just what I deliver and just what to expect of your photos!
As the artist/photographer, I retain the copyright to all photos I produce. Copyright laws protect me from having my (and therefore your) images stolen or manipulated in any way. You, however, will absolutely receive print rights to your photos, which means you can print your photos at any consumer lab, have cards made, create books, you name it. All I ask is that you choose a print lab that will print quality products so that the hard-earned money you spent on my services doesn't go to waste with poorly printed images! (And I can totally help with finding you one!) I do allow you to purchase high-quality prints, canvases, and albums through your gallery, and I keep prints at a very affordable price point so your photos aren't stuck on the internet or a USB!
Highlights of your wedding day will go out within a couple of days and your full gallery will be delivered within 6 weeks. (I have to tell you, though...I usually deliver them much sooner! Shhh!) (Regular sessions take roughly 7-10 business days!)
This differs greatly between events and sessions! The number typically depends on how many hours are covered and how many photographers are present! I'm an over-deliverer by nature, and I don't set a limit to the number of photos you receive. Great photos don't get tossed just for the sake of meeting a limit - I never want to find out that I threw out the photo of your love flashing that silly smile you love! Trust me - you'll have to make it a date night to get through your gallery.
After determining how many photographers you would prefer for your wedding day and any other sessions or albums you would like to include, I will gladly draft up a proposal and send you a contract and payment information through Honeybook, the online platform through which I manage all of my weddings and sessions! A non-refundable (but transferable), 35% retainer and signed contract is required to book and hold your date. Two split payments will be scheduled for the balance and are required at 120 days and at 30 days.
